Hi Praveen, Thanks for sharing. I think this jar is already a part of hadoop library. How did you originally copy the hadoop jars into libext/? Why it was not originally copied?

This time I was able to start and run workflows in Oozie. Without the commons-configuration-1.9.jar, Oozie also failed to start silently without any errors in the oozie.log. I was able to get around the problem as mentioned above, but wanted to let others know for them to easily solve it and also maybe to open a JIRA. Thanks, Praveen
