Since Oozie server runs via Apache Tomcat, this means the Tomcat class path - usually under the server installation directory's webapps/<your-app>/WEB-INF/lib sub-dir. Specifically in Oozie's case, that location is
<oozie-distro-dir>/oozie-server/webapps/oozie/WEB-INF/lib While setting up Oozie server from the distro dir, you only need to insert these required jars in a dir named "libext", and invoke following command. It will inject those Jars in the above-mentioned classpath. $> ./Oozie-setup.sh prepare-war On 11/25/13 3:19 AM, "[email protected]" <[email protected]> wrote: >What is classpath refered to here ? >Doc referred -> >http://oozie.apache.org/docs/4.0.0/DG_HCatalogIntegration.html > > >A workflow action interacting with HCatalog requires the following jars >in the classpath: hcatalog-core.jar, webhcat-java-client.jar, >hive-common.jar, hive-exec.jar, hive-metastore.jar, hive-serde.jar and >libfb303.jar. hive-site.xml which has the configuration to talk to the >HCatalog server also needs to be in the classpath.
