While launching MR task from shell oozie uses mapred user. I am calling a hive script from shell task and hive script inserts data in partitioned table. Its failing because of mapred user does not have permission on table which was created by another user.
1.Can I force oozie to take user who submits job for MR rather than mapred, even if authentication is not kerberos. 2.If not what shell I do provide 777 access on table directory or add mapred user to group in which other user who created table is present and provide acces to that user. Any other solution?
