Hi Oozie Users: Have a very specific usecase and was interested to know if oozie solves the same or there is a work around.
Have a oozie workflow application which typically finishes within a min. However in unexpected scenarios, it takes over 5 mins to finish. The application is tolerant to failures. We want to cap the runtime of the job to 2 mins. That is if the job runs over 2 mins, we want to kill the job, or fail the action. Current approaches are to have an external worker which will keep polling for run time and then invoke a kill of the action. Wanted to know if there are more elegant ways to solve the problem or work around the problem. -S
