There should be more logging information. The best way to find out is to check the external ID of the workflow action first. You can do this by opening the Oozie web console at http://<your oozie host>:11000/oozie/ <http://quickstart.cloudera:11000/oozie/> . Click on the workflow, find the sqoop action, click on it and check it¹s external ID. Should be something like: job_1428581493109_0006.
With this external ID check the job log in the Job history server of hadoop, there you should also find the sqoop error that occurred during job execution. Cheers,
