Hi, there

According to Oozie documentation, below coordination setting does honor
Daylight Saving. Each coordinator action will be materialized (created) at
00:00 EST5EDT regardless of timezone daylight-saving adjustments (05:00 UTC in
Winter and 04:00 UTC in Summer)

<coordinator-app name="eastcoast-processing" frequency="${coord:days(1)}"
                 start="2009-01-02T05:00Z" end="2010-01-02T05:00Z"
timezone="America/New_York"
                 xmlns="uri:oozie:coordinator:0.1”>

The latest version of Oozie also support cron style frequency setting. Let’s
say I set it like

<coordinator-app name="eastcoast-processing" frequency=“0 5 * * *"
                 start="2009-01-02T02:00Z" end="2010-01-02T05:00Z"
timezone="America/New_York"
                 xmlns="uri:oozie:coordinator:0.1”>

Does this have the same effect? Does it mean the job will run at 05:00 UTC in
Winter and 04:00 UTC in Summer? I try to check the documentation and internet,
but could not find a definite answer.

Thanks.

Lan
