Increase the oozie.service.coord.normal.default.timeout property in the config This is a behaviour change that was introduced in 4.2.0, compare the values in https://oozie.apache.org/docs/4.2.0/oozie-default.xml and https://oozie.apache.org/docs/4.1.0/oozie-default.xml value is in minutes, default timeout is now 2 hours. I must admit I was a bit upset when I figured out this change (jobs that were just fine before suddenly timing out after the upgrade) David
