Hi,

If you want to shutdown an Oozie server, you're better off just shutting it
down.  As far as I know, safemode doesn't do much anymore (and I've
personally never used it).  Also, for Oozie HA, there's also no need to
worry about what happens to the jobs currently running on the Oozie Server
being shutdown; the other Oozie Server(s) will take care of them
automatically.  Jobs aren't assigned to a specific Oozie Server; in fact,
the same job will likely be processed by different Oozie Servers at
different times!
