        Your direction seems to be right on.  The 0.9.2 is very solid but
about a year ago became 2nd fiddle to Geronimo.  This isn't a complain but
as you say, pre-Geronimo OpenEJB is a great tool that should be built upon
for the current 2.1 EJB support and upcoming 3.0 support.  As a developer I
like this approach a lot as well since I don't have to go from existing
knowledge of 0.9.2 to the Geronimo based 2.0 stuff end up with a mutation of
the two.  (Not that it is a bad think to know OpenEJB inside and outside of
Geronimo.)  All in all, I like the direction you proposed both from the
developer and user standpoint.  It appears to be a win-win situation.  Take
