We have been working on this for the past few weeks. The last was when the application used to work on windows and I could not rebuild moviefun.war.At tha point David wrote that there was something wrong in their test suite and I should download and rebuild. Priot to this point moviefun used to work.
Now in between the jobs, yesterday I got time to work again on this. I cleaned up all work/folders from Tomcat (5.05, win XP) and downloaded the latest version which was like Sept 20th 2005 and drop the moviefun.war and changed web.xml as readme said and i got above messages. So you will see that with latest release I went from Working moveiefun(that I could not rebuild myself) to a non-working one. My efforts are academic here as really I am not sure this product has really become matured/stable to use in production. My goal is to use move an existing application that I use on oracle/OC4J. I really got introduced to this product while searching Onjava and reading Tomcat 5 book by Sams. This book has a full article on openejb but I could not make that work. Well, all I do is download binaries from Tomcat and drop moviefun.war change web.xml etc to set openejb home. Also, this I am doing on my laptop where I have only JD2SK installed from Sun. So there is no chance I am clashing with my work computer etc. I think we are prety close all I am missing is some files as I think there should be some jar files from caster etc should be included in common/lib of Tomcat, no where the readme file says what else to include to rin on Tomcat. I believe this must be really working for Jeremy and may be others too but they have more settings in their Tomcat. Our settings are that we develop on windows and deploy on UNIX.
