As you can see from this log extract, the appropriate profile images are uploaded and converted - and put in the correct directories. They are just never put into the page. The little popup that controls it all just sits there with the progress bar scrolling endlessly, until I cancel it.
There is no indication in the log file as to why this is. Not that I can see anyway.
