Hi Dominic,

in the configfile there ist another option “ldap_user_picture_uri”. If you set
it to profile.jpg, it is shown on dashboard and profile.

# optional, only absolute URLs make sense
#ldap_user_picture_uri=picture_uri
ldap_user_picture_uri=profile.jpg

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / With kind regards

Betreff: LDAP and Profile Images

Dear Group,

When I login via LDAP, the OM system automatically picks up all the key details
from the AD system and populates the OM records. Now I add my picture using
“Upload new image” option. It is working fine as well. However when I logout
and login back again using the same credentials, the profile image is missing
and the additional changes that made to the profile are missing as well.

My LDAP configuration parameter is set to true.
# Ldap-password synchronization to OM DB
# Set this to 'true' if you want OM to synchronize the user Ldap-password to
OM's internal DB
# If you want to disable the feature, set this to any other string.
#  Defautl value is 'true'
ldap_sync_password_to_om=true

I would like to know how does this work in OM. When a user login using LDAP,
does OM copy the details to the local DB? Why am I not able to see my uploaded
profile picture when login next time. Do I need to change any configuration or
setting? Appreciate any pointers in this regards.

Best Regards

Dominic
