Actually OM Moodle plugin performs REST/SOAP queries to the OM server Can you check if OM server is accessible from Moodle server (for ex. with: *wget http://OM_HOST_FROM_MOODLE_CONFIG:5080/openmeetings/services/UserService?wsdl <http://OM_HOST_FROM_MOODLE_CONFIG:5080/openmeetings/services/UserService?wsdl>* ) the result should be well formed XML file
