When I try that, I'm told that the account name 'motrengaw' is already taken.

Also, the reset password post is sent to my [email protected] address, which is correct.

I have registered again as 'motrengaw2', with the same email and can now login.   I've entered the bug/feature report.  Please confirm you can see it.


I am not a frequent poster to this system, so perhaps there is some expiry mechanism at work here?  It would be nice not to need to re-register every time I wish to make a report. .... But, I realize the last thing you want to be spending time on is the QA tool! ;-)

My previous password for the account 'motrengaw' ceased to work.  I've tried to reset the password twice using the "Can't access your account?" link and using the password link in the resulting email to reset the password.  Using the new password(s) however, I still see the red "Sorry, your username and password are incorrect".

This is a relatively minor issue I'm trying to report (see "Notification Sound Appears ..." thread).  But I would like to have access to the Jira restored for possible future issues.
