I agree with Sylvain. This would be a fabulous addition to OpenMeetings. :)
I don't know how the interface would like but it might be nice to add a menu at the top of the screen (as per my attached screenshot). Otherwise you could add something to the toolbar, but that might make the toolbar too big? What do you mean about the math format? Is there a list of options somewhere?
