Dear Maxim,
My VirtualHost setting is as below:

<VirtualHost *:80>
        ProxyPreserveHost On
        ProxyRequests Off
        RemoteIPHeader X-Client-IP
            RemoteIPInternalProxy 127.0.0.0/8<http://127.0.0.0/8>
        ServerAdmin [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>
        ServerName webinar.example.com<http://webinar.example.com>
        ErrorLog logs/webinar.example.com-error_log
        CustomLog logs/webinar.example.com-access_log common
        ProxyPass / http://localhost:5080/
        ProxyPassReverse / http://localhost:5080/
</VirtualHost>

Once I logged-in, URL changed from http://webinar.example.com to
http://webinar.example.com/openmeetings/#user/dashboard
but dashboard is not loaded. Howerver, when I use port i.e.
http://webinar.example.com:5080 everything works fine as it bypasses the apache
in this case.
Reverse Proxy and Openmeetings are hosted on same server.

In one of the post, you suggested "you need to add mod rewrite and the rule to
rewrite external_protocol_host_port to internal one and leave URL tail
unchanged". I seek you guidance to write correct Rule.

Have upgraded apache 2.2 to 2.4.33.
Have not enabled mod_proxy_wstunnel because not sure where it is needed in my
case?

Regards
Alok

Could you provide rule you are using so I can suggest correction?
Have you enable mod_proxy_wstunnel ?

BTW we are using Apache 2.4 on our servers

6.5/httpd 2.2. Its working fine and accessible within and outside of our LAN
using webinar.urdip.res.in:5080<http://webinar.urdip.res.in:5080>. I have now
trying to use httpd as reverse proxy so that I can access without mentioninh
port. My other intension for using reverse proxy is to restrict outside access
through Basic AuthType. Everything works fine and login screen comes but after
login Dashboard never displayed. However, when I mention port 5080, it works
fine.

I tried to follow your suggession you had given as follows "you need to add mod
rewrite and the rule to rewrite external_protocol_host_port to internal one and
leave URL tail unchanged". However, I am not able to write proper rewrite rule.
Can you guide me in this.

Hi All,

My issue is solved by editing my Apache site configuration like below:

Do I need to reinstall application without domain and use local IPs? Currently
my setup is on con.aztut.ml domain, you can see error on console after login.

Further, to isolate the issue, you might want to test run your installation
without the proxy server and with only firewall router. Some firewall routers
do not support WebSockets in default setting. To bypass proxy server, you can
use IP address (within LAN, either in local network or through VPN) Server /
domain name. Thank you. Sincerely, Hemant K. Sabat

be able to provide any additional vectors, could you share the following: Is
your setup: Reverse proxy HTTPD + HTTP OM? Are you converting HTTPS --> HTTP in
front of reverse proxy HTTPD? If so, did you happen to review the log files of
your OM installation? And the access log files of your HTTPD installation?
Thank you. Sincerely, Hemant K. Sabat
