You got it right once again !

In tomcat/lib I had :
* geronimo-atinject_1.0_spec-1.0.jar

And my webapp WEB-INF/lib I had  :
* javax.inject-1.jar
* javax.inject-2.4.0-b10.jar

I excluded the later ones from transitive dependencies in my pom.xml and 
everything went right.
