Hello everyone, I've recently been having some problems with the mobile app, so gather around and read my tale...
--- Many moons ago, in the early days of the mobile app, I installed it on my low end dumb smart phone. While it took a bit to Sync, it did eventually. Many days of joy followed, with the instant upload of photos working perfectly and the app was updated regularly. By then, I was feeling confident and had just got a brand new Tablet, so I decided to install the app on it too and be able to feast on the (own)cloud storage. Indeed, the installation went well enough, but the darn contraption was never able to Sync. "Well", I thought, "at least it's working on the phone", so I was content with it. But then, the day of the "Great Reset" arrived, and the phone had to suffer through what is now known as "The Factory Reset". After this ordeal, I promptly installed the mobile app again, in the hopes it would work as before. Alas, I was wrong... It seemed to suffer the same fate as the Tablet installation. So, I now walk the streets of the Global Village, cloudless, in the hopes that a kind soul might enlighten me in my quest of the Sync. --- So there you have it, kind strangers. I do have a few gigabytes in there, could this be the reason why the Sync never happens? I'm under the impression that the mobile app doesn't actually download anything (only filenames) until requested by the user. Cheers, Duarte
