Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"; Format="flowed" Hello all, consider this scenario: - ownCloud Server A hosted at some data center - ownCloud Server B in a LAN with a number of ownCloud clients Server B should simply act as a mirror of Server A to provide faster synchronisation within the LAN and save bandwidth on the LAN's internet line. The LAN's local DNS is configured to return the IP of Server B when queried with the fully qualified name of Server A. So notebook clients will automatically connect to B instead of A when connected to this LAN, and connect to A otherwise. Whether I can actually implement this setup depends on this question: Is there a way to do two-way server-to-server synchronisation with ownCloud 6 (or maybe with 7)? Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Hi Edmund, Server to server sync is currently not possible. But mounting one server in another using a public link will be possible in OC 7. Mostly because you first need to figure out how to deal with conflicts (which can always happen in a two-way-sync-scenario). The server which mounts the other's public link does not mirror any of its files?
