So my Android phone has 530 contacts in it, sync'd with a Google account. I installed "CardDAV Sync free", put in the URL (using https:// rather than the caldavs:// that the OwnCloud docs suggest), waited a little while, that did nothing, so I figured that it only syncs new contacts.
Okay. I exported a .vcf from gmail, uploaded it to OwnCloud, got three hundred and something of them in. Decided to upload again. now I have 871 contacts. A lot of dupes. Before I write a de-dupifier, has anyone else already done this? Thanks.
