We ran into trouble with uploads larger than 2gb on owncloud 6. Had to
use php 5.4, since 5.3 supports uploads up to 2gb only. We used ius
repository for php version 5.4 and its running fine since. You can use
other repos probably like atomic for example. This does not directly
relate to question, but I just wanted to say that one can use "newer"
versions of php outside of base repos.

feel like rebuilding the server OS to something else, however, looking
at the requirements for Owncloud 7 and I see that several of the
versions of software are much higher then what is in the CentOS 6 repos.
I can get the higher PHP versions through the "software collections" but
I am a little hesitant to go that route.
If no one has attempted it yet, I will build a VM to test on but I don't
want to risk my Owncloud setup at the moment. It is working pretty well. :-)
