Yes, but it's a bit difficult to understand, the documentation says:-

    By default, the ownCloud Set Up Wizard syncrhonizes your entire
    ownCloud account to the root folder of the ownCloud server. Due to
    this default setup, you must first remove the top-level folder prior
    to specifying new synchronizations.

So what exactly (and where) is "your entire ownCloud account"?  Can I
add it back after removing it as the root folder (need to know what
it's called to do this)?
