Hello Vincent, the downloaded files are not encrypted, they go from an ASCII file to a data file when downloaded.
We download them from both, but mainly from the web UI. A pdf file seems it's an ascii file from the cli (i.e : more file.pdf) on the owncloud server but looks like a corrupted pdf file, although command 'file' doesn't recognize it as a pdf file.
