ownCloud Version 8.0.2

Hi everybody,
About my last ownCloud upgrade from version 7.0.4 to 8.0.2.
Upgrading with CLI, I had this error :
An exception occurred while executing 'INSERT INTO
`oc_oc_activity_0wbn3bpttqnl8` SELECT * FROM `oc_activity`':
SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2013 Lost connection to MySQL server
during query
To solve this problem, I emptied table oc_activity.
(The size of oc_activity was 90% of global ownCloud database)
And I was able to finish my upgrade.
Is it a problem that some of you noticed ?
Or something that I need to customise in order to avoid this kind of
problem (database or ownCloud config) ?
