(My first post to this list after using OC for a couple of years)
I have a set up where a client's scanner sends documents to the local
client OC folder. The client pushes them up to the server and then once
an hour a script runs to process them and move them to another folder
eg: Uploads -> Uploads_Processed
This has been working fine for a few weeks and then last Friday the
client noticed that the same files we being re-uploaded on the client
and did not appear to sync.
To combat this we set the file:scan to run every 5 minutes to make sure
that the server was aware what had moved to the "Processed" folder. This
seems to work after restarting the client / using the pause button on
the client.
- How can I make sure the server can report back to the client to let it
know the file has been moved?
- Is the pause button the only way (and can it be automated on windows)?
Any help, feedback, links to the relevant page in the manual, etc are
apprecaited.
