Hi Roeland

Have you been able to fix the sharing problem?

Mvh,

Hey,

It seems that the documents app is still using the internal sharing endpoint.
That
has been removed as of 9.0 and we now only support the OCS Share API endpoint.

We had the same issue with gallery. I'll try to port the patches there to the
documents app.

Thanks for reporting!

Cheers,

Subject: [owncloud-user] Problem with sharing a word file from within the
Documents app in the web

Hi all

I’ve a problem with sharing a word file from within editing it.

I have three different owncloud servers.

Faulty number one:

CentOS 7.2.1511 (Core)

PHP 5.6.18 (also tested with downgraded to 5.5.32)

Apache 2.4.6

Mariadb 5.5.44

Owncloud 9.0.0-1.1 with LDAP to an Active Directory

I can share a file by klicking the sharing ”button” on the right of the file.
No problem there.

But if I try to share it within the app Documents and I’m editing the document
then I can’t.

In owncloud.log I get this:

{"reqId":"VuaTRzDViX-c3ke3p9j4aAAAAAo","remoteAddr":"213.179.28.33","app":"PHP","message":"Invalid
 argument supplied for foreach() at
\/var\/www\/html\/owncloud\/core\/ajax\/share.php#340","level":3,"time":"2016-03-14T10:32:39+00:00","method":"GET","url":"\/index.php\/core\/ajax\/share.php?fetch=getShareWith&search=hakanb&limit=200&itemType=file"}

I’ve sat up the same owncloud version on the same server at another address and
didn’t use ldap but local users but with the same error.

If I downgrade the php to 5.5 then I get the error Error while sharing Error.

I have another owncloud server that is behaving just the same and then I have
an older CentOS server with local users.

The setup is:

CentOS 7.1.1503 (Core)

PHP 5.5.28

Apache 2.4.6

Mariadb 5.5.44

Owncloud 8.1.1

Can it be a problem in owncloud 9?
