Hi all,

a question on the following kind of OwnCloud setup:

a collection of stateless web servers running OC 8.1.x, all with an identical
setup, but with both DB and data (objectstore) remote, need to be upgraded to
OC9. The original OC install was done manually with the tar.gz files.

I guess :
- all traffic to the OC servers needs to be cut at the load balancer level
- one of the web servers needs to be put in maintenance mode
- follow the manual upgrade scenario on this web server, like documented in the
Admin manual

including 'oc upgrade' and 'maintencance: mode --off'
- copy all owncloud files to the other servers, with restart the web servers
- test

As I have to go to OC9, I probably better upgrade that first web server from
OC8.1.x to 8.2.3, and then again 9.0.1, and then copy the files to the
remaining servers. Right ?

Or should this be done differently ?
Already many thanks for your feedback.

Kind regards
