Does phoenix-4.1 works with hindex?

the hindex is excellent for local index ,if i bulid hindex(hased on 
hbase-0.94.8),and hadoop-1.0.4,and use phoenix-2.2.1,does it works well?
for a SQL query in phoenix client ,can phoenix convert to Hbase scan and then 
call hindex's coprocessor to query data?
if it is able to do so ,how to do that?
