Hi, Counters and bytes read/written have been broken in local mode for a while. I believe this is the Pig jira: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PIG-1286
Does anyone know if there's been progress on the Hadoop side, where I understand the root cause to lie. I've found this JIRA with a 2 year old patch, which I'm not sure is still relevant: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAPREDUCE-1214 I'm working on better stats collection code and developing against a cluster is a major drag. thanks, Bill
