Hi, "pig.properties" here is different from "-P" option. By default, you can load "pig.properties" by specifying the location of the same on the classpath and THIS takes the highest precedence. Then comes -D followed by -P.
The document says if you provide a property through all of -D, -P AND the properties file - the properties file will take precedence. 2012/3/26 赵新刚 <[email protected]> > In this -> http://pig.apache.org/docs/r0.9.2/start.html#properties > > > The following precedence order is supported: pig.properties > -D Pig > property > -P properties file > set command. > > This means that if the same property is provided using the CD command line > option as well as the CP command line option and a properties file, the > value of the property in the properties file will take precedence. > > > > I don’t quite understand what this meaning. > Prefcedence order says CD is bigger than CP . why the CP will take > precedence? > > Thanks! > > ________________________________ > > This email (including any attachments) is confidential and may be legally > privileged.
