Hi Thomas, > An editor, even a simple system, to generate wtkx files is really missing.
This is on our long-term roadmap, but it's something of a low priority at the moment. From our experience, GUI builders are something that developers often ask for, but in practice rarely use. :-) > Plugins to manage with xml files is also missing : for a begginner, it's > really difficult to write some new syntax without auto-completion in the ide. Agreed. This is a much higher priority item. If anyone with plugin development experience wants to help out here, that would be great. > A strange point for me : in the documentation, it never talks about "bxml" > files, only "wtkx" but we have a lot of them in the sources codes. Why ? What > is it? WTKX was renamed to BXML for Pivot 2.0 and moved to the Core library (since it didn't actually depend on WTK). > Roadmap with dates for future versions could be also a good point. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PIVOT?report=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.project:roadmap-panel We are expecting to release Pivot 1.5.2 within the next week or so. We are currently targeting late October/early November for Pivot 2.0. > Bye for now, but probably I will come with technical questions! Sounds good. Definitely let us know if we can answer any additional questions. Greg
