Hi! There is an issue called "GUI builder" for pivot, scheduled to version 3.0: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PIVOT-30
But Visual builder isn't the only way to improve UI development. Millions of html/js interfaces developed with bare hands, using some text editor and web browser. The reason of success is simple - in html you can change code, type F5 and get new UI look *immediately*. I have developed a tool which displays wtkx files as easy as web browser displays html.
