So, the answer is the same: applets aren't working not for Pivot issues, but probably for the IcedTea Plugin ... and as you I'm sorry for this (I'd like to have even a full Open-source environment to run Applets) but we can't do so much. You can see this if you install the Sun/Oracle JRE/JDK in the same environment, and test the same Applets. So you could try to post some questions (and maybe a detailed log) to IcedTea developers). In any case, if there is something inside Pivot to improve this situation, we are here ...
