Hi Scott, I think a simpler way could be try in NetBeans to associate bxml files to an xml editor, take a look here: http://forums.netbeans.org/topic358.html
Or we could think to add an attribute like mime="" to BXMLSerializer ... and add this as an improvement in jira. Comments ?
