-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 For the most part, I've just extended Pivot widgets directly - Label, ImageView, StakPane, BoxPane, etc. That's not terribly clean - I'd prefer composition over inheritance here - but it's easy and it works.
Note that I'm not concerned with writing new skins, or using BXML, so my approach may not be suitable for everyone.
