Hi all,

By the way, my BRAP Remoting (http://brap.tornado.no) is a perfect fit for
Pivot applications :) hehe..
Edvin, as Chris I briefly take a look at it and seems very interesting ...

Cool :)

Some time ago I use this library (very interesting) for some prototype: Cajo
http://java.net/projects/cajo/pages/Home

I have looked at it and found it a bit "intimidating" and hard to understand the scope. If it is an abstraction over RMI, you will suffer from the same problems that RMI has, along with firewall traversal issues in constrained environments, like "deny all, allow spesific" type configurations. Therefore I find encapsulation in HTTP is your best bet. For remoting, cajo seems like overkill, but it opens a lot of exiting possibilities I think :) Will for sure take another look at it!
