To narrow it down, could you try:
1. Create a workbook from POI
2. Add three sheets,
3. Fill each sheet with some data
4. Write to file
5. Open in excel
6. Change to A4, and save
7. Open in POI
8. Select all sheets
9. Write to new file
That'll allow us to know if the problem is selecting A4 sheets, or if it's
setting the paper size to A4
