I went into the POI source and it appears that both [A2+B2] and [IF(TRUE;A2+B2)] formulas evaluate correctly to 6 (as in my example A2 = 2 and B2 = 4). The value seems to be correctly set after evaluation but when the document is opened back into Excel, the value isn't displayed.
