No, it is not normal. Can you post sample code that produces "Out of memory"?

I know it is common to get "Out of memory" errors when creating large
files and increasing heap space helps. It seems though that with the
XML version (3.5 beta 3), I can only put a small fraction of the data in
a file using XSSF that I can using HSSF. Seriously, I'm talking well
over 10 times as much data using HSSF. Is this normal or am I using the
XSSF code inefficiently?
