Hello Pierre, Many BIFF records remain uninterpreted by POI, and these are handled by UnknownRecord. UnknownRecord re-writes it's contents unchanged and has no other interesting behaviour. Some of these uninterpreted records are used by POI as markers or 'milestones' for record navigation. What appears to have happened here is that your specific workbook has an unexpected arrangement of records. If Excel can read that file OK, then POI should too. Could you create a bugzilla entry and upload the workbook which shows this bug? For interest, which application wrote the file?
