Hi

I think my original message lost the formatting but the example is supposed to
be like this

"I(Bold,Italic, Red, font:14) want (Italic, yellow, underline,font:24) this
(bold, blue, font:16, fonttype:verdana) "

Thanks
A

Subject: Data with different properties within a cell

Hi

Excel allows data with different fonts and colors and sizes to be part of the
same cell

Example would be

"I want this"
where all three words have different characteristcs but can be part of the
same cell.

In POI there is no way I can have this data rendered. The only way to get data
to a cell is to set it on the cell
and ofcourse the same goes for style. There can be only one style and that is
set on the cell not the data within the cell

So how can I achieve the above case. Is there no way to style individual text
data and then append them to the same cell?

Thanks and Regards
A
