I think the sheet name needs to be quoted. This code should work:
namedCell.setReference("'Termin Blank Werte'!$C$4:$C$6");The formula parsing rules changed a lot since version 3.0.2. POI now requires sheet names with special characters (space, !, etc) to be delimited in single quotes. The formula parsing changes have made POI more consistent with Excel. For example (in all the places I tried), Excel won't parse "Termin Blank Werte!$C$4:$C$6" either. The method deprecation is an unrelated issue (due to a misleading method name). The old and new methods do exactly the same thing. Hope this helps, Josh
