In BIFF8, the record sid for FORMULA is 0x0006. However, the sample file has FORMULA records encoded with sid 0x0406. This may be due to some confusion from a while back, that this article attempts to clear up: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/184647
I guess POI can be modified to support this, but it would be better to fix the source of the error.
