Try the latest trunk. Daily builds can be downloaded from
http://encore.torchbox.com/poi-svn-build/
I've just run the example, PowerPoint 2003 and 2007 have no problems opening
the produced file.
Google Docs can read and display it too, although with minor flaws.

Actually, the file that the code produces can be opened by OpenOffice.org's
Impress, but does not render correctly at all. PowerPoint and PowerPoint
Viewer will not open it at all, nor will Google Docs.
Thanks...

Follow the pattern in the example:
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/poi/trunk/src/scratchpad/examples/src/org/apache/poi/hslf/examples/TableDemo.java
If the problem is still there, post sample code you use to create tables.
Yegor
Hi,
I get a corrupt file each time a table object is used within a PowerPoint
file. Any ideas?
Thanks...
