I'm inclined to believe I've possibly downloaded the wrong jar file for Apache - POI. I tried with code copied off another thread on this forum ( http://www.nabble.com/Basic-question-for-reading-xls-file-tt25743149.html http://www.nabble.com/Basic-question-for-reading-xls-file-tt25743149.html ) and it gave me the same error.
I downloaded POI from http://apache.securedservers.com/poi/ http://apache.securedservers.com/poi/ I went to the "release\bin" folder and downloaded "poi-bin-3.5-FINAL-20090928.zip". Is this the wrong file?
