Hi all,
I am currently using POI 3.5 FINAL to write both XLS and XLSX documents. I am noticing that when writing string data a XSSF cell, the data is always trimmed. The same process when writing to an HSSFCell preserves the leading and trailing spaces. Is this a bug or the intended behavior? Is there a way in the current release to preserve these leading and trailing spaces for string data? Thanks!
