Think how you would do this with Excel;
Insert a new row
Insert the data into the 'new' cells in the relevant region.
If any other regions have been affected by the rows insertion;
Copy the data up.
Apply any formatting.
Adjust any formulae.
Tidy up, i.e. remove formatting from those cells you have copied data from -
if necessary.
..and I think that this is what you will have to do with POI by writing the
code yourself, sorry. It has been a fair time now since I used the API and
changes have occurred during that period. Having said that, I do not think
that there is any way for the API to handle this requirement for you
automatically.
Finally, I will not be able to help out with any code as I am only here for
a couple of days before heading off abroard again.
