First up, I'd suggest you figure out how to do it with .docx - work out which bit of the file holds that information. Armed with that, you can probably find a suitable HWPF property that can be set. However, we'd need to know what .docx does (which is easier to find out!) before you'll have all that much luck finding the .doc property
