I'm trying to write a document parser for .doc .docx .pdf and .rtf formats. Ignoring the pdf and rtf parts of it, I've got .doc reading working but .docx won't due to issues with the import of the xwpf library.
I've specified all of the .jar files that comes with the Apache POI in the classpath on my windows box and my linux box and they both come back with the below error when I try to compile. http://apache-poi.1045710.n5.nabble.com/file/n3700916/xwpfError.jpg Now XWPF should exist within both the 3.7 POI and the 3.8 beta POI from what I understand, yet it refuses to work. If I'm doing something wrong, then fair enough but from what I've found with google for information about the XWPF and docx reading this is in theory correct.
