If you are still intertested in knowing this, let me know please as I have been able to find out how to get at the column information. Some of it is clearly available, some of it has to be calculated - for example if there are three equal width columns in a section, then Excel will not create records for each column, it is up to use to use the width of the page along with the intercolumn space to determine how wide the column is.
